Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Fence Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing a variety of commercial fencing systems, including guardrail, chain link, ornamental, wood, and vinyl fences. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining fences on commercial properties to ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role involves working outdoors on construction sites, utilizing both hand and power tools to assemble and install fencing materials. The Commercial Fence Installer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality installations that meet their specifications and enhance their properties.
Key Responsibilities
: Install commercial fencing, including guardrail, chain link, security, vinyl, and ornamental fences.
: Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications.
: Measure and layout fence lines, including post hole locations.
: Excavate, drill, and set posts using various equipment and hand tools.
: Attach fence panels, gates, and other components.
: Inspect materials for defects or discrepancies.
: Ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
: Work independently or with a team to complete projects on time and within scope.
: Perform maintenance and repair on installed fencing when necessary.
: Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure high-quality service.
Requirements:
: Proven experience as a fence installer or similar position.
: Ability to read construction drawings and technical diagrams.
: Proficiency in using hand and power tools related to fence installation.
: Physical strength and stamina to handle outdoor work in various weather conditions.
: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor.
: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
: Good communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
: Experience with both commercial and residential fence installation.
: Hydraulics License.
: Experience operating heavy equipment (e.g., mini-skid steer, mini-excavator, guardrail pounder, etc).

Schedule:
: 10 hour shift
: 8 hour shift
: Monday to Friday
: Overtime
: Weekends as needed
: Year round work
: Expected hours: 32 – 50 per week
