Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented full-time Coating Lab Technician/General Labor team member to join our graphite post-processing department. In this role, you will be responsible for the careful handling, preparation, and coating of delicate graphite parts, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production goals. Your contributions will be essential to maintaining the high quality and timely delivery our customers expect. In this role, you will be expected to collaborate effectively with team members and proactively communicate with the department manager to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Parts Handling & Preparation: Carefully handle and prepare fragile graphite parts for the coating process, ensuring they are free from defects or contaminants.

Coating Operations: Load and unload parts into coating vessels and ovens, precisely following established procedures and safety protocols.

Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on parts and inventory before, during, and after the coating process, documenting findings accurately.

Warehouse Operations: Receive, process, and accurately locate parts, products, and shipments within the warehouse environment.

Production & Safety: Meet or exceed production standards while consistently adhering to safety regulations and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling solvents and chemicals, while proactively communicating any concerns or challenges to the department manager.

Assembly: Assemble products in the warehouse manufacturing environment.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment is in proper working order.

Qualifications:

Essential:

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic computer skills, including accurate typing ability

Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain precise records

Understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse and manufacturing environment

Ability to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when handling solvents and chemicals

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred:

Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

Experience with coating processes or handling delicate materials

Experience resolving conflicts or navigating challenging interpersonal dynamics in a professional setting
