Cahoon Care is a small family-owned and operated home care agency that offers personalized in-home care and comfort to the elderly and to individuals of any age who need assistance with daily living activities, whether living alone or at risk, disabled or wheelchair-bound, or recovering from an illness. We also offer respite care for family caregivers.
The Staffing Coordinator/Administrator is a multi-faceted position with a focus on recruitment and retention of qualified caregivers. This team member will support the hiring and onboarding process, mentor caregivers, provide back-up scheduling, process Long Term Care insurance claims, participate in the on-call rotation, and other tasks and projects as needed.

Responsibilities:
Develop in-depth knowledge of agency processes and systems with a specific focus on identifying, cultivating,
and maintaining relationships with new and existing caregiver candidates
Utilize best practices to source, screen, and interview viable candidates
Onboarding for new caregivers in accordance with HR policies and procedures
Apply known and emerging recruitment best practices
Mentor caregivers, providing guidance with respect to Cahoon Care Associates policies, procedures, and
expectations for professionalism, reliability, and communication
Back-up scheduling, matching client schedules, and care needs to compatible caregivers
Ensure the schedule is current and up to date under the direction of the scheduling coordinator
Process long term care claims
Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation
Other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Strong organization, and time-management skills
Exceptional communication skills with individuals of diverse and varying backgrounds
Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented
Ability and willingness to work after hours and on weekends, to share the on-call rotation
Software proficiency; MS Office and Internet/Social Media
Scheduling software experience preferred
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
