I am a Boston College Sophomore. I am physical disabled and use a power wheelchair. I am looking for PCA support during the week when I attend classes
The hours are Monday - Friday; approximately 30-35 hours per week. No experience necessary, will train the right person. The candidate will need to provide ADL support, accompany me to classes, share meals and companionship. You will need to learn how to use a Hoyer lift for my transfers so you will need to be physically fit for transfer related tasks.
The semesters runs from mid-January - May. Hours are available now and beyond the semester if you think this situation could be a good fit for you. My dorm is located at the start of the MBTA Green line. There is no designated parking but the school has street parking. The school will do a background check and you will need to have a Cori form on file. There is a lot of downtime with this position so this is a great opportunity for a person that does freelance work and/or remote work or school.
