Job Summary:
Abernathy Home Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) with Bilingual proficiency (preferred but not required) to join our team as a Home Health Aide Supervisor. This is a part-time, individual contributor role located in Stoneham, Massachusetts. The LPN will be responsible for providing guidance, supervision, and training to our home health aides to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals in our community.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is an hourly position with a compensation range of $35 to $39 per hour, paid biweekly. Abernathy Home Care also offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Train, supervise, and evaluate home health aides to ensure compliance with industry standards and state regulations
- Coordinate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Conduct regular in-home visits to assess patients' needs and provide hands-on care as needed
- Educate patients and their families on care plans and assist with any necessary medical equipment or supplies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care and progress
Requirements:
- Current LPN license in the state of Massachusetts
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an LPN in a healthcare setting, preferably in home health or hospice care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Compassionate and empathetic personality with a strong desire to help others
- CPR certification is preferred
