Help for Mom

Part time help, @ 15 - 20 hours week, help take care of Mom. She is still fully capable and all there but is older, becoming frail, stopped driving, has been living alone but it's time. Someone take her shopping, take her Dr.'s when necessary, do some cooking for her, drive her to friends to play bridge, help her water the flowers, help with laundry. In short "no heavy lifting", but must wear many hats; a laundress, a cook, a chauffer, a friend, a daughter, a nanny, etc. To start schedule would probably be Mo., We., Fr., three to four hours and one day on the weekend but we are very flexible. Over time it is expected hours and responsibility will increase or we will find additional help. When that time comes the choice will be yours. Pay is $25 per hour, when you drive her it will be in her car, and if dining out, having coffee, or similar yours will be provided. This is a good gig for the right person. Mom is pretty cool lady and a pleasure to be with. Must be kind, compassionate, patient, possess a good driving record, (need not be perfect), references, and a non smoker. We prefer someone local, close to Montserrat area of Beverly. No fancy resume needed. I'd rather a letter, from the heart, explaining your situation and why you are interested.
