Position Overview: As our Pastry Chef, you will oversee the production and presentation of all pastry items, ensuring consistency and excellence across our bakeries. You will be responsible for managing a team of skilled bakers and pastry chefs, developing new recipes, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the pastry operations at all three bakery locations.
Develop and create new pastry recipes and seasonal menus.
Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all pastry items.
Train, mentor, and manage a team of pastry chefs assistance and bakers.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Oversee compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to support overall bakery operations.
Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in a multi-location operation.
Exceptional baking and pastry skills with a strong portfolio of work.
Leadership and management experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Creativity and a passion for pastry arts.
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
