About Us:

VIVI’s Tapas Bar, an exciting new addition to the Revere Beach dining scene, is gearing up for a Grand Opening in March. We're on the lookout for dynamic individuals to join our front-of-house team. Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting your career in hospitality, we welcome individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an expeditor or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.

Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods.

Familiarity with kitchen operations and understanding of food safety regulations.

Detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring accuracy and consistency in food orders.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a dynamic restaurant environment.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate between kitchen and service staff.

In-depth knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, and presentation standards.

Team player mentality with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Proficiency in basic English & Spanish is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

Prioritize and manage the flow of orders to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Monitor and manage ticket times to ensure timely delivery of dishes to tables.

Coordinate and communicate effectively between kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order

delivery and provide updates on order status.

Inspect food orders for quality, accuracy, and adherence to presentation standards before being served to guests.

Collaborate with chefs and line cooks to address any discrepancies or modifications to orders.

Ensure that all food items leaving the kitchen meet the restaurant's quality standards.

Verify the completeness of each order and confirm it matches the customer's request.

Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with regulations and restaurant policies.
