Job: General Manager
Qualifications: 3 years experience in hospitality industry, and at least 1 year management experience
Salary: Based on experience, minimum of $80,000 a year with bonuses based on sales and cost of goods

Northern Spy, helmed by award winning chef/owner Marc Sheehan is seeking a GM to lead our team. It is a full service restaurant and bar with a focus on seasonal cooking on our wood fired hearth, craft cocktails, a limited yet fun wine program, and craft beer.
We are seeking a dedicated manager to run the operations of Northern Spy in conjunction with the owners.
Responsibilities will include:
Emphasis on training current and incoming team members
Creating systems to better execute steps of service and provide exceptional hospitality
Further develop the culture of excellence in our dining room, bar, and restaurant overall
Overseeing the wine program
Meeting or exceeding weekly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals with an eye towards growing our pool of regular diners
Managing and mentoring a diverse staff
Scheduling the FOH team with an eye towards providing a high quality of service to our guests as well as achieving a healthy work life balance for yourself and our team
Working to become the front facing representative of the restaurant to our guests and community
Coordinate scheduled and emergency repairs on the physical space and equipment
Generally oversee the day to day operations of the restaurant
