Italian Market Cafe with Wine Bar and Live Entertainment
Must have extensive experience in all types of Italian cuisine.
Must have knowledge of making sauces from scratch.
Making pasta and fresh mozzarella is from scratch and having wine knowledge is a real plus.
Run your own kitchen. Be your own boss.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for completing the necessary tasks for the operation of the kitchen
Perform cooking and food preparation duties
Monitor inventory and amount of food that is being utilized
Ensure compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving.
Monitor food preparation methods and presentation of food in order to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner.
Assist with receiving food and beverage deliveries, and checking delivery contents in order to verify product quality and quantity.
Keep records required by government agencies regarding sanitation, and food subsidies when appropriate.
Maintain food and equipment inventories, and document inventory records as directed by owner
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of workspace to be in compliance with all sanitation and department of health standards.
Other duties as assigned by owner:
Must have food handling certificate.
