From managing schedules to innovating new recipes, your days will be a blend of leadership and hands-on work. Here's a glimpse of what you’ll be responsible for:· Production Planning: Develop and manage daily schedules to keep the kitchen running efficiently.· Team Leadership: Interview, hire, and manage staff, while overseeing performance reviews and PTO requests.· Product Development: Lead research efforts to create exciting new products in line with market trends.· Inventory Management: Keep a close eye on supplies, place orders, and conduct cost analysis for ingredients and equipment.· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations meet state, local, and federal standards for safety and sanitation.· Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align activities with business goals.· Facility Maintenance: Oversee equipment repairs and ensure tools are sanitized and ready for use.A Day in the Life of a Kitchen ManagerYour day will start by reviewing the production schedule and ensuring your team is prepared to meet targets. You’ll rotate between tasks—managing vendor orders, overseeing staff performance, and collaborating with other managers to solve any challenges that arise. You’ll also have time to experiment in product development, refining recipes to bring new offerings to life. Throughout the day, you’ll ensure that every operation runs smoothly, meeting compliance standards and promoting a safe, positive environment.What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking someone who’s organized, proactive, and passionate about leading a team.
