Available Positions:
Cook: You’ll play a key role in supporting our kitchen operations, preparing mouthwatering meals, and working alongside a dynamic team.
Specialty Sandwich Maker: Craft delicious sandwiches that leave our customers craving more.
Prep Cook: Open availability. Assist with ingredient prep, inventory management, and delivery tasks while supporting the kitchen team.
What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities):
General Cook Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and dicing.
Follow recipes and customer orders to prepare food with accuracy and consistency.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment, ensuring proper kitchen equipment and workstation care.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards.
Assist with inventory management, notifying management when supplies are low.
Work alongside the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
Uphold a positive, professional attitude in a high-energy environment.
Participate in daily prep work to support kitchen operations.
Specialty Sandwich Maker (Specific Responsibilities):
Prepare and assemble specialty sandwiches according to customer orders.
Ensure each sandwich meets our quality standards with precision and attention to detail.
Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, grills, and ovens.
Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and accommodating special requests.
Process orders accurately using POS systems and maintain a smooth workflow, even during busy periods.
Prep Cook (Specific Responsibilities):
Assist with ingredient prep, including chopping, marinating, and portioning.
Drive the company van to transport supplies or food as needed from the Woburn Commissary Kitchen.
Monitor food supplies and report any shortages.
Help maintain cleanliness and organization in both the kitchen and delivery areas.
What You Bring (Requirements):
Previous kitchen experience required (experience in a fast-paced food service environment is a plus).
Open availability, including weekends and holidays.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50-100 lbs.
Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
Strong attention to detail and precision when assembling sandwiches.
