Cook at Prospect House Senior Living, HallKeen Management. Looking for an individual that likes working with seniors for a cooks position. Job includes following 4 week menu cycle made by Food Service Director. Needs to be able to make soups, main dishes, sauces, gravies and some desserts. Needs to know how to read a recipe. Needs to have knowledge of food safety and sanitation of kitchen/prep area. Needs to be able to work the needs of the community, i.e. 6 am to 2 pm or 12 pm to 7:15 pm. Has to be able to work weekends and holidays. Looking for 4 shifts during the week, but could be 5 depending on vacations, call ins, etc. Should be ServSafe Certified. Have to attend Orientation before starting, will get paid for the day. Have to do daily cleaning, along with daily cleaning tasks. Need to fill out food production sheets, along with equipment temperature logs. Needs to make sure the waitstaff and dishwashers are completing their tasks if FSD or DRM isn't present. Needs to be able to lift 50 pounds. Looking for individuals that work well with others and are willing to learn on the job.
