We are looking for a full-time cook to help execute from-scratch food prep, as well work our sandwich line at breakfast/lunch under the kitchen manager. Restaurant, cafe or bakery experience required. We are an award-winning artisan bakery specializing in hearth baked breads, sourdoughs, hand shaped croissants & pastries, and seasonal desserts. You will be working in our cafe kitchen, making sandwiches, soups, salads, sauces, pickles, roasting vegetables, washing produce and a variety of other tasks.
Details:
Full-Time (35-40 hours per week)
Must be available Saturday & Sunday
At least 2 years prior kitchen experience
Must be available to work between 6am-4pm.
Comfort level with knives and standard appliances (oven, sandwich press, induction burners, bread slicer, meat slicer).
Must be able to read and understand recipes & tickets in english
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Must be able to lift 50lb and work on your feet for 8 hours.
Must be able to work with a crew of diverse interests, personalties, and POVs
