High volume, past-paced breakfast and lunch diner in Brockton is looking for a breakfast cook to join the team.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answering, reporting and following executive or sous chef’s instructions
Cleaning up station and taking care of leftover food
Stocking inventory appropriately
Ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Complying with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Be comfortable cooking into front of customers
Be comfortable talking to customers while working
Job Type: Part-time
Serve Safe Certification a plus
Must speak English fluently
Must have transportation to and from work
Must be reliable
This position requires both week day and weekend availability
Must be available to work every weekend and most holidays
Cooking experience is required. Training is paid. Candidate must feel comfortable cooking alone on non-peak shifts
