A&B Burgers is looking to hire more bartenders to take us into our busy season. We have a 22 seat bar with full liquor license, craft cocktails and 24 draft lines. We host live bands Thursdays - Mondays as well as dart leagues and more.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing any concerns or complaints
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for banquet events
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of bar supplies
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of various alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and beer styles is a plus
- Experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
