Small historic Cambridge Boutique Inn. Established for over 25 years and highly reviewed seeking assistant innkeeper to owner/innkeepers. Established internationl clientele of academics, parents of students, and tourists coming in and out of the city. Several return guests.
We are one of the most centrally located full-service B&Bs still operating in Cambridge. Therefore, familiarity with the city and metro area is a plus. Must speak English.
Duties include:
-Tidying and turning over rooms as needed and per our reservation calendar each week
-General fine cleaning of all the house interior on a rotating basis
-Morning availability a must and at least on weekend day on most weeks
-Interest/ability/& experience in light cooking and prep
-Prep dining room for next day's breakfast and clean up after breakfast on some days
-Quick learner with natural attention to detail and willing to follow instructions with
efficient use of time
Able to work variable schedule as to different days each week as the reservations dictate.
If you need the same schedule every week, this is not the job for you, as that is impossible in this business.
The hours and schedule will vary every week and cannot be the same from week-to-week. Just the nature of the business. High occupancy mid-April right through early November.
Average 15-20 week most weeks.
You would not be expected to answer the phone or take reservations, as owner maintains
all reservation requests and confirmations through our online software system.
