Video Specialist Our financial client in Back Bay is looking for a Video Specialist to join their team for a long-term contract, hybrid (2 days/week in the office). In this role, you will be responsible for editing external and internal videos for the company’s website, social media and intranet. You will assist and work closely with the Head of Post Production (Video Lead Specialist) and Video Producers to help finalize an assortment of video projects. Responsibilities:
Support video team in establishing the desired look and feel for the video to be created
Operate computer editing systems and equipment used for video/audio media and motion graphics, emphasis on Premiere Pro and After-Effects
Ingest, organize and backup all forms of media onto storage drives
Improve video (color correction, Lumetri, Red Giant) and sound quality (Adobe Audition)
Ensure the correct formatting (aspect ratio, file size, etc.) and presentation for finalized videos according to client's specifications
Experience in videography/grip work so as to contribute to the on-set video productions, aiding in the lighting, running of cables and recording on-camera talent
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Film Production or relevant discpline
2+ video editing experience required
Ability to commute to Boston office for on-site video editing and grip work
Experience in videography/grip work for on-set productions
Excellent communication and organization skills
Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, handling multiple projects at various stages simultaneously, and to readily adapt
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
Passion for digital media and creative content development
Expertise in Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition)
