Description Robert Half is excited to announce a Remote Systems Analyst/Architect role working in the Pacific Time Zone. Overview: Join our global Technical Operations team providing second and third-level support for the GlobalLink applications. You'll play a key role in optimizing current services and building the next-generation infrastructure to support new initiatives. We seek innovative, self-motivated, and enthusiastic candidates who can drive projects from beginning to end.Responsibilities:
Provide second and third-level support for the GlobalLink applications suite.
Quickly diagnose and resolve issues across multiple functional areas (server, network, storage, etc.).
Execute Change Management tasks in Production, UAT, and Development environments.
Contribute towards ongoing migration tasks focusing on Maintainability, Performance, and High Availability.
Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
Collaborate closely with Engineering and Development teams to deliver a highly available and resilient system.
Participate in on-call rotation and perform weekend maintenance tasks.
Requirements
Experience/Skills Required:
15+ years of IT experience.
10+ years of experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, BASH).
Strong familiarity with web servers, particularly Apache, and development of CGI scripts.
Experience supporting production applications.
Proficient in Linux system administration (preferably Red Hat or CentOS).
Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting (TCP, UDP, Load Balancing, NAT, FW, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting skills from kernel to application and network layers.
Working knowledge of cloud environments with automation experience (AWS preferred).
Additional Skills:
Knowledge of Artifactory management tools like JFrog, Nexus.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Infrastructure deployment via Terraform.
Experience running and troubleshooting Java applications.
