We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sommelier to join our team.  As our Sommelier, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our guests' dining experience through your extensive wine knowledge and exceptional service skills.Curate and maintain an extensive wine list that complements our menu and meets our guests' preferencesProvide friendly, responsive, and educational wine service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guestsOffer expert recommendations on wine pairings to enhance guests' meal choicesManage wine storage including inventory control, stock rotation, and temperature monitoringConduct staff training sessions on wine knowledge, service techniques, and food pairing principlesCollaborate with the chef and management team to develop wine programs and special eventsMaintain relationships with wine suppliers and stay informed about industry trendsEnsure proper wine service, including decanting, temperature control, and glassware selectionAssist in creating and updating the restaurant's wine menu and promotional materialsMonitor and analyze wine sales data to optimize inventory and pricing strategiesAssist with general floor service duties
