Senior Project Manager - DoD Projects

AECOM has an excellent career opportunity for a creative, highly talented Senior Project Manager for immediate employment in our Boston, MA location which serves as our home office to support programs throughout the US and internationally.What you will do:As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the development of task order proposals; support the management team in tracking task budgets, monitoring activity schedules, and implementing product quality standards; and otherwise support the Program Managers.The Senior Project Manager will provide leadership in the management of design, technical and administrative staff on a wide variety of complex projects worldwide.In this role, you will provide leadership to the team by communicating project objectives, contract scope, terms, and schedule. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:In partnership with the Project Director will lead a team, or multiple teams in the delivery of a wide range of projects.Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.Ensuring project completion within budget, schedule and in conformance with specificationsReviewing contracts and sub-contracts and manage subcontractorsMonitoring project financials and reporting to the Project Director.Developing and maintaining design schedules.Resolving field-initiated questions with the technical design team.Coordinating and directing activities among the design groups.Participating attending, and lead design review meetings and recording meeting minutes and tracking action items.Coordinating the development of project deliverables with the design team.Participating in building and maintaining a positive client relationship.Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project.
