Perform rodent surgical and technical procedures, including intravenous IV), subcutaneous (SC), intraperitoneal (IP), intracerebroventricular (ICV), and intrathecal (IT) injections.Perform central nervous system (CNS) and peripheral tissue dissectionPerform stereotactic and microscopic surgeries.Perform blood collection and processing (i.e., centrifuging whole blood, pipetting plasma)Troubleshoot and refine in vivo techniques.Maintain precise and organized documentation of experimental procedures and results in an electronic laboratory notebook (ELN).Work independently as well as within a flexible team-oriented environment.Ensure adherence to animal welfare policies, research protocols, and laboratory best practices.Additional Physical Requirements:Requires fine motor skills and dexterity of fingers, hands, wrists, and arms.Frequently required to use repetitive hand/wrist/arm motion.Walking, climbing stairs, and moving materials and supplies between research buildings.
