RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Principal Software Engineer in Boston, Massachusetts (MA).
Summary:As a Principal Software Engineer, you will build scalable microservices that are responsible for reliable, secure APIs that transfer value, and assets across all blockchain protocols (think Bitcoin and Ethereum, for example) as well as traditional banking protocols (think credit cards, bank transfers etc.)Responsibilities include: Provide technical leadership to product and engineering teams to design, develop, test, and ship phenomenal features Principal Software Engineer will design and build publicly accessible APIs that make it simple for developers to integrate with complex payment systems Integrating platform services with leading banks and financial technologies to allow an ever-greater number of customers access to fast, secure, and low-cost payment channels Principal Software Engineer will architect and develop the infrastructure to deliver great payment experiences, including data sources (SQL or NoSQL), messaging systems, and APIs Extending the in-house blockchain systems infrastructure to support the tokenization of the worldREQUIREMENTS: 10+ years of professional software development experience in object-oriented languages like Java, NodeJS, and Go Management of projects driving cross-functional partnerships to align teams with external stakeholders Mentored other engineers and led teams technically on architecture and system design Expert in one of the domains of API design, payments processing, risk/fraud detection, data engineering, machine learning, or blockchains Advanced understanding and proven experience with: API design and REST principles Knowledge in cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, etc.) Knowledge in SQL databases and designing schemas; Deployment of production-quality and scalable softwareKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
