Health Advocates Network is hiring a Patient Access Representative (1 Year Exp Req) ! This is a full-time contract position at a nationally recognized hospital located in Boston, MA.

Pay Rate: $23.50/hour

Shift: Days (8hrs)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Role Summary: Patient Access Representative secures and provides appropriate information to patient families and funding sources to register, schedule and/or obtain authorizations for inpatient, outpatient, and/or diagnostic services.Patient Access Representative Qualification and Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent

1-3 years related work experience required.

Experience/general knowledge of managed care health plans

Knowledge of scheduling, registration, billing, and/or claims payment.

General knowledge of medical terminology.

PC proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint?, and?other MS Suites.?
