Description Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal for a prestigious Boston firm. Must have commercial real estate experience. Great pay and be3nefits! Responsibilities:
Review, prepare, and finalize real estate contracts, leases, and deeds.
Review title searches to determine ownership and legal restrictions and to ensure clean titles.
Coordinate and direct the closing process to ensure all documents are correctly executed and recorded.
Communicate with clients and other parties to ensure all parties are informed of progress and issues.
Handle closing disclosures, HUD/Settlement Statements, Title Commitments, and final Title Policies.
Order payoffs, interact with surveyors, resolve tax issues, and assist with any title issues.
Assist attorneys with drafting real estate documents, conducting research, and handling administrative duties.
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial real estate.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with real estate software.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, and effectively communicate with clients, lenders, and real estate agents.
Knowledge in the areas of real estate law, contracts, title insurance, and closings.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies or equivalent.
Paralegal certification a plus.
