We are seeking a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to provide direct services to
students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in middle and high school settings. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and collaborate with educational teams to enhance student participation in academic and social activities.Key Responsibilities:Direct Services:Provide individualized occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs.Develop and implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance students'; ability to participate in school activities and achieve their educational goals.Evaluations:Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess students’ functional abilities and needs.Analyze assessment results and develop detailed reports that guide intervention planning.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and review IEP goals and objectives.Educate and train staff on occupational therapy strategies to support student learning and engagement.Maintain open communication with families regarding students’ progress and recommendations.Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports.Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding occupational therapy services in educational settings.
