We are seeking a Medical Lab Scientist to join their growing team!Pay: $25-35/hr depending on experienceShift: Monday-Friday, 12:30pm-9:00pm OR 3:00pm-11:30pm (rotating weekends)Location: Boston, MAKey Responsibilities:
Conducting a wide range of laboratory tests on biological samples such as blood, urine, and tissue specimens.
Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments.
Analyzing and interpreting laboratory test results.
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities.
Contributing to research projects and staying abreast of advancements in the field of medical laboratory science.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) from a recognized accrediting agency.
Generalist experience required, including Blood Banking.
Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, procedures, and equipment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
