This expanded role will be responsible for establishing and driving the overall marketing strategy for DCS.Focus will be around understanding the market opportunity, defining the client segment personas and building an actionable B2B marketing plan from “brand to demand.”Specifically, this role will focus on building CBRE’s brand awareness in this sector, initiating lead generation, marketing thought leadership, and spearheading product marketing across all paid, owned and earned channels including involvement in key industry events.This role will interface directly with leaders across the firm including full engagement with the Head of Data Center Solutions – and manage alignment with key business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine the regional market opportunity and buyer personas to drive value and strategy

Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop segment and product positioning and messaging that articulates a value proposition and product narratives

Develop revenue-driving go-to-market plans with defined success metrics tied to revenue

Develop content for internal and external use including sales collateral, case studies, FAQs, Talking Points etc.

Write, socialize, and execute marketing plans across digital, content, product, customer growth, and creative

Understand competitive differentiation and arm client organization with the effective tools to position against the competition

Develop training programs for internal awareness and education

Track and measure the effectiveness and impact of all marketing activities

Business AcumenGrasps complexities and connections among problems; able to prioritize elements that will drive success

Ability to comprehend and interpret business data, analysis and documents, company policies and procedures as well as clients’ goals and objectives to develop strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment

Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.

Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to line of business and/or overall company.

Financial KnowledgeRequires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to analyze complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions.

Education and Experience10+ years of related experience and/or training

Bachelor’s degree or comparable academic training in general business, marketing, or closely related discipline is preferred.
