CD PROJEKT RED is looking for an Engineering Director to join us and drive the performance, memory, visual fidelity, and tools of Cyberpunk 2, the next mainline Cyberpunk 2077 game.In this position, together with the rest of the team, you will help push the envelope for immersive games in the Cyberpunk universe, creating an emotional, action-packed open-world experience that will stay with gamers for a long time. As an Engineering Director, you'll combine your leadership skills with your deep technical expertise to shape the future of our engine systems, driving innovation and delivering unforgettable gaming experiences.Daily ResponsibilitiesProvide visionary guidance and strategic direction for the development and evolution of our technology. Lead a team of talented engineers to achieve stunning visual fidelity and performance across diverse platforms.Drive innovation by exploring and adopting cutting-edge techniques, tools, and technologies.Mentor and empower team members and other leads to excel in their roles, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and technical excellence.Collaborate closely with artists, designers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into robust engineering solutions that elevate the overall quality of our games.Serve as a technical evangelist both internally and externally, championing best practices in programming and advocating for the adoption of industry-leading techniques and standards.Develop strategic plans for the engineering team, including resource allocation, project timelines, and technology roadmaps.Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the best quality of service and technology.
