Director of Marketing

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Director of Marketing, who will report to our Senior Vice President of Global Growth. The Director of Marketing will develop, execute, and lead the next frontier of our brand and marketing strategy. Principal responsibilities include:

• Fundamentally overhauling our brand
• Building and executing our online marketing strategy and global events program
• Managing a PR & earned media program
• Elevating our use of channel partnerships
• Aligning our marketing investments with our priority growth areas
• Improving our engagement and awareness in EMEA, APAC, and South America
• Supporting the market & accounts teams with meaningful, provocative narratives
• Developing an analytical program to track marketing performance

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who are ambitious, pursue new ideas and experiment, roll-up-their sleeves to get things done, and want to work in a collaborative, team-based environment. PowerAdvocate is based in Boston, although we will consider candidates based in London, San Francisco, or Houston as well. Additionally, we are looking for candidates with:

• Degree from an undergraduate program (MBA a plus, but not required)
• 5+ years of work experience (growth marketing and consulting background preferred)
• Strong analytical abilities and comfort with data
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and challenges independently
• Preference for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture
• Exceptional workplan management skills
