KPMG is currently seeking a Director - Technology Assurance to join our Audit practice.

Manager, Technology Assurance Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute the day-to-day activities of IT audit engagements for clients, including system development, package implementation, SOC and control readiness assessments, and/or platform reviews
  • Evaluate the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycle
  • Help identify performance improvement opportunities for assigned clients
  • Supervise and provide performance management for IT audit staff working on assigned engagements

Director, Technology Assurance Responsibilities:

  • Manage and plan the execution of day-to-day activities of IT audit engagements, including system development, package implementation, SOC and controls readiness assessments, and/or platform reviews for clients in multiple industries
  • Write and present clear and concise reports and presentations containing meaningful observations and recommendations to clients and document procedures performed and conclusions reached related to projects
  • Support proposal and business development activities by assisting in the identification of new target clients, building business relationships with key executives and developing/presenting proposals
  • Provide oversight and leadership to KPMG team members regarding deliverables, project plans and performance management while contributing to industry and regulatory publications, writing professional and thought leadership articles and speaking at related conferences and seminars

Manager Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of professional experience preferably in any of the following areas: internal or external IT audit, Modern ERP packages such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or risk assessment with a minimum of three years of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance testing experience leading engagement teams; Attestation experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university; CPA, CISA or relevant certification preferred (though not required for this position)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, technical knowledge and the ability to write at a publication quality level to communicate findings and recommendations to the client's senior management team
  • Travel as necessary

Additional Qualifications for Director:

  • Minimum eight years of professional experience preferably in any of the following areas: internal or external IT audit, Modern ERP packages such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or risk assessment with a minimum of five years of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance testing experience leading engagement teams
  • Demonstrated strong business development experience in consulting services industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, technical knowledge and the ability to write at a publication quality level in order to communicate findings and recommendations to the client's senior management team
  • Supervisory experience within a professional services role is preferred
