The Operations Control Management team is part of the first line of defense with Operations on the control agenda. Operations Control Management is liable for the oversight of the control environment for the Operations functions that support the business. Instrument Reference Data and Data Solutions Operations Control Manager role is a coordination and consolidation role to bring operations activities and priorities together in a consistent and strategic manner.Job SummaryAs an Instrument Reference Data and Data Solutions Operations Control Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and consolidation of bringing operations activities and priorities together in a consistent and strategic manner. You will ensure that you partner with stakeholders and teams within Instrument Reference Data and Data Solutions Operations, understand the direction of risk and control management, participate in the appropriate programs, and deliver on the global work-streams. Global partnership, relationship management, and collaboration is key to all aspects of the role as you will be working in partnership with the Business Control Managers and Operations acting as a trusted Operations control advisor with Operations on managing control, risk governance implementation and reporting.Job Responsibilities

Target Operational Risk & Control Design Reviews - target and execute proactive process-control deep dives based on data analysis, themes and trends, emerging risk and cycle.

Analysis and Insight - curate relevance data sources, data access and availability to support descriptive use of data across operations.

Risk Identification & Assessment - Review risk event, errors internally / externally where relevant for themes and emerging risk.

Governance & Oversight - Manage control forums including content, agenda, action tracking and closure.

Audit & Regulatory Review Coordination - Coordinate interactions with audit, compliance and regulators through exam process.

Monitoring the Control Environment - Implement comprehensive operations risks metrics reporting and trigger-based escalation processes.

Manage CORE establish sustainable processes for evaluating the effectiveness of the CORE processes.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Thorough knowledge of the Security Services business, function and or related Controls and Risk skill sets.

Industry knowledge that is transferrable and/or beneficial to this role.

10 years or more work experience.

Demonstrated ability to think strategically with respect to data, technology, risk/control, and regulatory agendas.

Strong organizational & planning skills and a track record of delivery.

Strong data orientation and ability to lead on data culture, practice development and tooling.

Influencing & strong communication skills with the ability to work with others at all levels and across, locations and disciplines in a virtual organization.
