Description We are in search of a meticulous Buyer to join our client in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is pivotal in the procurement process, specifically within the wholesaler industry. The position is a short-term contract employment opportunity. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for implementing strategic buying processes, utilizing your skills in MS Excel and other ERP Solutions. Responsibilities: Execute buying processes effectively, ensuring the best quality and cost Handle accounting functions related to buying processes, including Accounts Payable Employ strong communication skills to negotiate with vendors and interact with team members Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions to optimize buying processes Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing Stay updated about industry trends and shifts, incorporating this knowledge into buying decisions Manage the 'About Time' system to ensure efficient and timely buying processes.Requirements Must possess strong skills in Enterprise Resource Planning Proficiency in Epicor is essential Prior experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required Demonstrated ability in ERP Solutions is a major plus Knowledge and experience with Buying Processes is crucial Exceptional Communication skills are requiredRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
