About the Business Development Representative This role is a HYBRID role - this role is based in Boston. We are looking for fresh graduates and entry level sales talent who are hungry to become top performers with a “get it done” attitude.As part of our high-energy, success-hungry sales team, you will primarily book meetings for our Sales Executives to help them achieve aggressive revenue goals.This outbound cold-calling role is the perfect opportunity to learn the skills that pave the way for lucrative closing roles later Responsibilities

Outbound cold calling to targeted prospect

Vetting and list-building prospects for targeted accounts

Booking qualified meetings between AE & prospects

Achieve weekly/monthly/quarterly quota

Being accountable for activity and dials per day

Understanding Verndale’s range of capabilities/services

Working closely with Manager and AE for best sales practices

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

No prior sales experience necessary (although 1-2 years of face-to-face customer service, retail or hospitality, is a plus)

Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Ability to engage quickly

Warm and confident on the phone and in person

Hustle mentality

Passionate about personal and professional growth

Embraces coaching and other opportunities to develop

Excellent communication skills and phone presence
