The bank is committed to its local communities by supporting organizations that provide financial literacy and job training, small business support, affordable housing, and more.JOB SUMMARY:The AVP, Banker is accountable to analyze, evaluate, completely underwrite, structure and close lending opportunities. There is also a focus on financial analysis, modeling, research, and credit application preparation and presentation. This role will work closely with Bankers on new transactions. They will also be a key part of the business development efforts of the overall region by attending market events and beginning to grow their own personal network in the venture capital and entrepreneurial ecosystem.Responsibilities
Evaluating loan / credit requests to determine quality of opportunity and potential loan structure to maximize return on investment.
Identifying specific merits, risks, and mitigants for each transaction.
Constructing and maintaining detailed financial models and developing sensitivity analyses around key economic drivers.
Drafting internal approval memoranda and term sheets.
Performing industry and company financial research and due diligence.
Supporting legal documentation and execution of new transactions.
Assisting in all aspects of origination activity leading to closing of new transactions, including regularly attending networking and business development events and developing relationships.
Adhere to all corporate compliance and regulatory needs including but not limited to compliance training, Reg B, NOD, CDD, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required: 5+ years related experience or public accounting
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
