Job DescriptionOur client r is known for pushing the boundaries of senior living design. We believe that designthat supports the older adult is inclusive and supportive to all ages. In this role you will workcollaboratively as a part of a dynamic team delivering outstanding design and technical expertise in ourSenior Living practice. Our diverse practice includes new construction and renovations of Life PlanCommunities/CCRCs, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing andAffordable Housing. Our team is responsible for balancing innovation, creativity, quality, andfunctionality while working to exceed client goals, providing an environment that enhances the lives ofthe older adult. Through design, management, detailing, and communication, the Senior LivingDesigner / Planner will help create exceptional and impactful Senior Living environments.Responsibilities:Collaborate with senior project designers to initiate and develop design efforts on all types ofsenior living projects.Work with project teams to develop initial concepts into design solutions.Conduct design research to inform creative solutions for senior living.Participate in design presentations to clients.Develop presentations and contribute speaking engagements at both local and nationalconferences.Willingness and ability to travel for work.Skills and RequirementsRequirements:8-10 years of experience in planning and designing Senior Living projects.Degree in architectureAbility to lead consultant coordination.Knowledge of codes as they pertain to project scope.A desire to manage and mentor junior staff.Willingness and ability to travel - Diversity Candidates (BIPOC) nullWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
