Accounting Manager

Own of the complete Month End Close Process covering AP/AR, General Ledger Account Reconciliation, Journal Entries, Balance Sheet, Fixed Assets, Month End Adjustments, Bank Reconciliations and more across multiple Locations / Legal Entities in United States and Canada.Provide Key Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reports to management and leadership teams with narrative and analysis of discrepancies.Work closely with the Payroll department to ensure compliance and accuracy of accounting and payroll tax data.Maintain accurate and complete Financial Records.Build financial processes and systems from the ground up to optimize efficiency and accuracy.Streamline financial workflows and reporting to enhance data-driven decision-makingLead process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation and technology integration.Research changes to accounting standards and provide recommendations on application of new laws and regulations across all North American legal entities. Work with external tax partners to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings.Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing accounting team, providing guidance and fostering professional growth to support the company’s financial operations.
