Accountant - Entry Level

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant to join our financial services team based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role will primarily involve data entry tasks and financial statement analysis, making it an excellent chance for those keen on building a career in the finance industry. This role also offers the flexibility of remote working after an initial period of in-office training.Responsibilities: Input financial data into a proprietary system in accordance with company guidelines. Analyze and verify financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements. Collaborate with Financial Reporting Analysts to address any issues or questions regarding the financial input. Maintain efficient and accurate data entry processes to support the company's financial reporting. Commit to the project duration and ensure minimal absences once live with audits. Utilize accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning tools to accomplish tasks. Use good time management skills to work in a fast-paced environment. Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and other stakeholders. Review financial statements and perform accounting functions as necessary. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable as part of the role.
