The mission of the Cambridgeport Children’s Center is to provide a nurturing and inclusive child-centered early childhood educational experience based on a Reggio-inspired vision that values diversity and respect. We actively promote partnerships between children, families, teachers, and the community.

We are seeking a full-time toddler teacher to join our teaching team to start @ July 2024.

Qualifications:

● EEC Teacher certification

● CDA, or higher education degree (any level) in ECE, Child Development, Elementary Ed., or Early Childhood Special Education (OR 30 college credits in these areas with an unrelated degree)

Preferred Skills and Experience:

● Cultural Competency

● Knowledge of EEC regulations

● Organized

● Time management skills

● Creativity

● Experience and commitment to ongoing study of the Reggio Emilia approach

● Familiarity with anti-bias and antiracist approaches to early education

Language skills other than English a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The ability to lift up to 60 pounds

The ability to respond quickly to sounds

The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces

The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations

The ability to position self to play with children on the floor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year depending on qualifications and experience
