Start date : end of August
Schedule : varies, generally Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with a weekend day here and there. Willing to negotiate on hours. 30 - 40 hours.
Pay : starting $20 / based on experience.
We are family of 4, looking primarily for our 8 month old and perhaps sometimes for our 4 year old. Of course we would love someone who has experience in child care, but willing to teach the right person the ropes. I’d say if you are energetic and have the right disposition we’d make a good team.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care to our baby
Maintain the baby’s feeding and nap schedule
Engage in play, and age-appropriate learning activities
Light related housekeeping (e.g., bottle cleaning, tidying play area)
Follow safety protocols and routines
Communicate with us regularly about the baby’s day
Ideal Candidate:
Has prior experience with infants (references preferred)
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Nonsmoker
Up to date on vaccinations
Comfortable following the family’s parenting style and routines
Optional but a plus:
Early childhood education background
Bilingual
Willing to travel occasionally or help with light family errands
