A diversified international consulting firm is seeking a Staff/Senior Accountant to join their team.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Coordinate month end close process to senior management, revaluation/currency analysis of foreign entities, monthly accrual, prepaid, intercompany and expense allocation entries
- Responsible for monitoring, analyzing and reporting actual operational expenses in comparison to the budget and prior year.
- Conduct all Accounts Receivable responsibilities, including applying cash receipts, monitoring aged receivables, and invoicing customers.
- Responsible for reconciling certain general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation and review of the monthly financial statements and supplemental schedules.
- Validate and ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial reports and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation and review of various quarterly reports that are submitted to the parent company and government and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance;
- Two to four years of relevant work experience, preferably previous staff supervision;
- Proficient with Excel, Word and business intelligence and reporting tools;
- Effective communicator with ability to cogently and concisely convey financial information and results to all levels of the business;
- Ability to effectively collaborate and work with others to achieve objectives;
- An attention and dedication to accuracy, thoroughness and quality;
- Self motivated, team player with a strong desire to contribute and have a positive impact;
