Location: On-site, Littleton, MA (Hybrid/Remote with approval)Compensation: Salary Exempt - TBD based on experience and expertiseJob Type: Full-time 40 hours per week, standard business hours Travel: 25% to locations in Massachusetts, rarely but as neededPosition Overview: The Finance Coordinator at Sanctuary Medicinals will play a crucial role in managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role will provide financial support to the finance team and help maintain financial integrity across all company departments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.Key Responsibilities: Process and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. Process weekly payroll. Create financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial records. Ensure compliance with cannabis industry regulations, including tax and reporting requirements. Monitor cash flow and assist in managing company financial resources. Coordinate and support the preparation of audits and financial statements. Maintain accurate financial databases and filing systems. Support the finance team in preparing financial summaries. Work closely with internal teams to review financial data and provide recommendations for cost savings or process improvements, to include vendor cost sourcing and management. Ensure all financial processes are conducted in a timely and efficient manner. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or similar role; cannabis industry experience, or experience in a regulated industry is a plus. Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and regulations. Strong understanding of Massachusetts and Federal wage and tax regulations. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office products. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of cannabis industry-specific financial regulations and tax requirements is preferred. High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive financial information. Sanctuary Medicinals is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
