- If selected, there might be a background check that includes a drug screen (usually 4-panel-excluding marijuana) and sometimes credit checks for financial clients.

- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architectures.
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
- Design and develop solutions for the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
- Support our analytics tool infrastructures that utilize our data pipelines to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
- Work with stakeholders across many levels of the organization to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
- Work with data scientists and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
- Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
- 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Experience using the following:
- Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL
- Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET, C#
- Developer tools such as Azure DevOps, Visual Studio TFS, Github etc.
- Practical understanding of the Data Modeling (Dimensional & Relational) concepts like Star-Schema Modeling, Snowflake Schema Modeling, Fact and Dimension tables.
- Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficient in Microsoft C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
- Experience developing software using object-oriented programming techniques.
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable solution.
- Knack for writing clean, readable C# code.
- Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
- Familiarity with application security and defensive coding skills.
- Debugging skills; able to debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components.
