Description Are you a visionary data leader with a passion for driving business success through data-driven insights?As our Vice President of Data, you will be instrumental in shaping our data strategy and leading a talented team to deliver actionable insights. You will play a pivotal role in transforming our organization into a data-driven powerhouse.Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with our business objectives.

Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing data team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Data Governance: Establish and enforce robust data governance practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.

Advanced Analytics: Drive the development and implementation of advanced analytics and business intelligence capabilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to leverage data for strategic decision-making.

Technology Leadership: Evaluate and implement cutting-edge data technologies and tools.

Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate data insights and strategies to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

10+ years of experience in data management and analytics, with 7+ years of people management experience.

Strong proficiency in data analytics tools (SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).

Deep understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and industry best practices.

Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Experience in the travel or tourism industry is a plus.
