Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are in search of a meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your main focus will be handling cash applications, managing AR, and executing commercial collections. This role provides an opportunity for contract employment.Responsibilities: Handle cash applications with precision. Effectively manage Accounts Receivable (AR). Carry out commercial collections diligently. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis. Operate Sage 300 for financial management. Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate billing processes. Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate action when necessary. Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner. Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) processes and procedures Experience with billing and invoicing Knowledge in cash applications and reconciliations Familiarity with cash collections and debt recovery Expertise in commercial collections and understanding of collection laws Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Proficiency in using Sage 300 for accounting and financial management Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with customers and internal teams Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Solid problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
