Adecco Staffing is hiring for a QC Manager is Ayer, MA! This role is for a leading company in the food & beverage industry.Pay Rate : $90,000 - $110,000 annuallySchedule : Monday - Friday 6am-230pmPOSITION SUMMARYThe Quality Manager provides leadership and guidance for the department, works to improve core processes, and manages projects. They will accept ownership to ensure the staff is developed in all quality assurance functions. They should have excellent communication and listening skills with strong observational, analytical and problem-solving skills. They should have a clear understanding of regulatory compliance and be skilled in understanding scientific and technical data. This person also works to develop a clear understanding of the business and technical aspects of the quality assurance function in order to support the entire organization. Other duties as assigned.DAILY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:· Manage all document control for Epic and keep up to date for regulatory compliance.· Submit required reports to regulatory bodies.· Manage all concentrate and ingredient ordering.· New product development.· Manage all water systems including operations, process and treatment, documentation, reporting and monitoring.· Develop and recommend systems and procedures related to water operations; develop cost estimates for supplies and equipment as needed.· Create SOPs as needed.· Responsible for all quality audits including PepsiCo, AIB, FDA, OSHA.· Responsible to ensure HACCP, GMP, Safety, OSHA, SOP's and all quality programs are being followed.· Responsible for all month end/year-end inventory counts for ingredients.· Work with our co-packing customers for all ingredients and batching needs; communicate yields and any inventory true ups.· Work with all managers and supervisors as needed for quality, process, and policy adherence.· Attend meetings as required.· Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS

X years of experience as a quality manager.

· A results-driven approach and a keen eye for detail.· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.· Excellent organizational and leadership skills.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

Bachelor's degree in science or business-based programs.

Previous experience in production or manufacturing.

Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational and leadership skills.

In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.

Strong knowledge of mathematics, data analysis, and statistical methods.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES :
