Working as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Manage monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Put together monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests
Other projects as necessary
Coordinate quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Be a part of various department-wide initiatives
Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations Requirements - Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Balance Sheet Reconciliation experience required
Journal entries experience preferred
Accounts Payable (AP) experience highly desired
Financial reporting experience
Monthly Bank Reconciliation experience
Knowledgeable of ERP systems
Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
Ability to work well with functional department managers
Strong time management and organizational skills
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
This position needs to be filled by someone with financial reporting systems proficiency
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
