Description Duration: 3-to-6-Month Contract-To-HireLocation: Windsor Mill, MD – Hybrid – 50% Remote/OnsitePay Range: $50-60/hr. during contract / $100-120k/yr. upon conversion to permanentResponsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage Windows server and workstation environments (on-premise and cloud).
Implement and maintain STIG compliance for secure operations.
Secure network infrastructure with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners.
Automate routine tasks with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
Provide technical support to users and teams.
Collaborate effectively with other IT teams.
Requirements
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in Windows server and workstation administration.
Strong understanding of STIG compliance regulations.
Proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, and network security tools.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Security clearance is NOT required for this role.
