And our work depends on an Oracle Hyperion Application Manager joining our team to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The customer has a strong appetite for innovation and automation on the Hyperion application.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Oracle Hyperion Application Manager supporting CMS, you will be trusted to staff and lead a team consisting of functional and technical subject matter experts that collectively builds Hyperion value-add capability and solutions and ensures overall Hyperion system stability and availability. In this role, a typical day will include:

Architect the Hyperion Application in consideration of the program roadmap and Oracle Hyperion product development direction.

Partner with the CMS Financial Management Systems Group (FMSG) product owner to ensure on-going alignment on backlog prioritization, and proactive sprint planning.

Possess clear vision and priorities to guide and support team members on day-to-day activities.

Develop and maintain productive working relationships with the Oracle Hyperion account team to help FMSG succeed on the Oracle Hyperion platform.

Proactively communicate upcoming plans, opportunities, and interdependencies with applicable CMS and GDIT teams and leadership as pertains to Hyperion initiatives.

Provide status reports on Hyperion development and plans to Leadership and client management.

Ensure the Hyperion Development team meets all related SLAs.

Ensure creation and maintenance of SOPs and technical documentation specific to Hyperion.

Manage ServiceNow with a “configure first, customize only as a last resort” approach.

Manage resource allocation, budget, timesheet approvals, and estimate to completion activities for the Hyperion Team.

Support Agile development certifications and business development efforts.

Manage Hyperion team members’ goals and performance.Participate in the Risk Management Process through risk and issue identification and resolution.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

BS/BA or the equivalent and 10+ years’ experience in IT working with various software development lifecycle methodologies and technologies.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing Agile/Scrum teams.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience with the Oracle Hyperion application.

Must have prior experience interacting with senior client management.

Experience managing expectations of multiple stakeholders.

Experience managing daily operations, improvement/enhancement efforts, and special projects.

Experience managing and allocating people resources across multiple efforts.

Experience managing budget and forecasts.

Effective communication skills: listening, talking, writing, and understanding. Good self-awareness.

Ability to juggle multiple tasks in parallel with an awareness for evolving prioritization.

Self-motivated to keep learning more about the Oracle Hyperion platform, capabilities and best practices and apply/share them with teammates and our customer.

Ability to acquire and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Experience working with federal government agencies.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint

LOCATION: Hybrid - must live within driving distance to work onsite in Baltimore, MD twice per month.CLEARANCE: Ability to pass CMS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years in order to obtain a Public Trust.WHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU:
