Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician:
Maintaining the building in compliance with current federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Maintaining the building in good repair and free from hazards.
Maintaining the fire alarm system, sprinkler system and emergency generator system in good working order.
Maintaining the heat/cooling system, plumbing fixtures, electrical, etc., in good working order.
Maintaining lighting levels that are comfortable, and assuring that exit lights are in good working order.
Requirements of a Maintenance Technician:
Knowledgeable in all basics of plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning, appliance troubleshooting and repair, carpentry, drywall patching and repair, and other general maintenance tasks.
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
